Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner Joel Suter said: "It's super nice to win. It was my goal actually but it didn't look good in the middle of the race. However it became a favourable scenario towards the end. I decided to go alone because it wasn't fast enough. It's my first pro win on the road and it's a very important for my team".
